Located in Karaköy, the new up-and-coming neighborhood of Istanbul with art galleries, cafés and bars, The Bank Hotel Istanbul is in a converted building from a former 19th century bank. It is one of the best boutique hotels in Istanbul.

Perfectly situated between Galata, Beyoğlu and the historic Sultanahmet, the hotel positions herself as an ‘art hotel’. An in-house curator organizes events and exhibitions throughout the hotel and a collection of books related to art, culture and music are on display.

You can see artworks of local artists on the walls of the rooms and the restaurant.

All of the rooms have custom interiors designed by Sinan Kafadar (who was inspired by the hotel’s bank vaults), stenciled ceilings and parquet floors, goose down duvets and pillows, a marble bathroom with rain shower and Julius Meinl coffee machine.
