Karaköy Lokantası is one of the classics of the city. The restaurant recently changed her location, however it is still located in the vibrant neighborhood of Karaköy and still serves delicious Turkish food.

Karaköy Lokantası has delicious “meze’s”, cold starter dishes, apart from fish. Drinking “rakı” is almost like a must. (Rakı definiton: Unsweetened, anise-flavored hard alcoholic drink that is very popular in Turkey)

Reservation is needed, especially on the weekends.
