Euromos Ancient City
Located in southwestern Turkey, Euromos is home to one of the best-preserved Roman temples in Anatolia—the Temple of Zeus Lepsynos.
Dating to the 2nd century CE, the temple still stands with 16 original Corinthian columns, many inscribed with the names of local patrons.
Once a thriving Carian city, Euromos also contains traces of a theater, agora, and city walls.
Surrounded by olive trees and rarely crowded, the site offers a peaceful encounter with classical antiquity in its raw, unspoiled form.
