ALONG THE BOSPHORUS STRAIT
İstanbul is the only city in the world that lies on two continents. With this tour, you will explore the shores of the Bosphorus, the natural strait that separates Europe from Asia.
Strolling through the local neighborhoods and cruising with your private yacht, you will enjoy this ‘pearl’ of the city both from the land and the sea.
First you will drive until Rumeli Fortress where you can even have a quick breakfast stop, then you will walk along the Bosphorus and experience life in the local neighborhoods.
You will visit the following neighborhoods:
Bebek: Upscale residential neighborhood where you can enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee or tea by the Bosphorus.
Arnavutköy: Picturesque neighborhood where you will come across many wooden mansions and historical houses, have great photo opportunities and see many local fish restaurants, ice cream shops and men fishing along the Bosphorus.
Ortaköy: Historical neighborhood popular with locals and visitors, is also home to the shooting of TV commercials and films.
Following your tour of the Bosphorus from the land, you will have a two hour private yacht tour where you will see the city from the water. You will end the day by visiting Dolmabahçe Palace.
Dolmabahçe Palace Museum: Former seat of the Ottoman Sultans for the last stretch of the Empire from 1856 to 1922. This extravagant palace was where the empire was ruled from and where the sultan and his family lived during that time.
