This is a cute neighborhood with narrow streets and beautiful, wooden historical houses. The coastline is lined up with former ‘yalı’s (seaside mansion) straying away towards the sea. It is one of the most authentic yet dynamic neighborhoods of the city.
Wooden late Ottoman houses, quaint 19th century Greek Orthodox Church, various art galleries, antique stores, designer boutiques are spotted among narrow streets with cobbled stones, although this in its essence is an unpretentious part of town.
The main street crowded with fish restaurants, offering different experiences. This is the perfect spot for wandering along among the narrow back streets and taking pictures of old historical houses.
