Museum Of Innocence Has Opened İts Doors On Saturday!

Museum of Innocence has opened its doors on Saturday! 

First one of its kind, the museum is based on a novel. It is designed by the Nobel-prize winner Orhan Pamuk.

Settled in a historical apartment building in Çukurcuma, the museum displays items referring to the lives of the fictional characters in the book who lived in this house. 

The long-awaited museum attracted a lot of attention despite the really nice weather outside.

You will start strolling through the museum by the entrance floor where you will witness the smoked cigarettes on the wall, with notes about each. 

Besides the story of the novel, the museum takes one to Istanbul of the 70s and creates nostalgia.

You can enter with your ticket in the novel and get a stamp in your book.

It is not allowed to take pictures in the museum, but you can buy posters and postcards with images of the past from the museum store. (Above is a postcard sold in the museum store)

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday between 10am and 6pm and every Friday between 10 am and 8pm.
