istanbulites have flocked to the moving exhibition of the world famous Chinese artist Ai Wei Wei at Sabanci Museum in Istanbul. 

The exhibition which was supposed to end in January was extended till March 11th. If you are in town till then, make sure you pay this impressive exhibition a visit and you would get to see Sabanci Museum and her permanent Islamic art collection as a bonus. Lunch at MSA next door is highly recommended as well.

Ai Wei Wei’s moving exhibition is though provoking and also a feast for the eye. It is one of the best exhibitions the city has seen in awhile. The exhibition is free for everyone on Wednesday and the museum is open everyday except Monday. 

It is also possible to visit the exhibition with a guide who would explain you what you are looking at and give you background information about the artist, his stance on world politics and more.
