Gamze is a native of Istanbul and has been a professional licensed tourist guide since 1990. Gamze holds a Bachelor of International Affairs degree from Istanbul University, the oldest and biggest university in the country. Gamze has considerable experience of guiding visitors around Turkey and especially in Istanbul. To date, she has mostly guided visitors from the USA including many CEOs and celebrities like John Travolta & Anne Hathaway. She particularly enjoys guiding cultural, architectural, shopping tours and Sufi themed tours. Her special fields of interest are history, psychology and last but not the least Sufism (Islamic mysticism); she gives in depth tours and lectures on Rumi and his works. She also enjoys hiking in nature and taking photographs. Traveling is one of her greatest passions, so far she has been to more than 15 countries.
