Discover The Turkish Art Scene With Istanbulite!

With several new exhibitions opening up every month, Istanbul now holds a strong place on the international contemporary art market. Today many Turkish galleries and artists are recognized around the world, exhibiting ground breaking works and participating at international art fairs. 

Beyoğlu district, the heart of the city, is home to creativity. Many artist studios, design boutiques and galleries reside in this district. Spend half a day with a local Turkish artist and walk through the neighborhoods of Cihangir, Karaköy and Tophane visiting several exhibitions.  

Our Contemporary Art Walk, led by Seza Bali, will start with a cup of Turkish coffee with a brief explanation of the art scene. After visiting the galleries we will end our tour with a delicious lunch at Karaköy Lokantası.
