Ayşegül Selçuki Uysal completed her undergraduate education at Bilkent University, Department of Archeology and Art History.
She then completed her master’s degree in the field of Economics and Cultural Heritage Evaluation at the University of Catania, Sicily, with the European Union Scholarship.
She had done her doctoral studies in the Department of Classical Archeology at Ege University with a study on Overseas Activities between Ionia and the Western Mediterranean in the Archaic Period. The author, who speaks French, English and Italian, is also a Professional Tourist Guide and studies on cultural heritage awareness of the new generation with the creative drama method, She has been working professionally as a museologist and archaeologist for 20 years with the title of Izmir Trade History Museum and Cultural Heritage Director at the Izmir Museum of Commercial History under the roof of Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
