This 19th century building is only a few minutes walking distance from Galata Tower and right in the middle of Galata neighborhood which has gone through tremendous change in the last decade. Full of designer stores, casual cafe’s, youngsters and expats, Galata is for sure, one of the places to be in Istanbul. It is also on the same street with one of our favorite jazz clubs, Nardis Jazz.

Individually designed suites have their own personal style, combining modern elements with the historical character of the building & neighborhood. There is a small kitchen and table in every suite. Baylo Suites has a small terrace with a humble view of the beautiful 16th century mosque, Suleymaniye as well.

Entrance floor of this charming building is a sophisticated store where the collections of the owner, an intellectual istanbulite, are sold.
